Severed head of Anne Boleyn to appear at Alternative Queen of Bath contest

The Alternative Queen of Bath contest announces judges

The severed head of Anne Boleyn is set to become one of the judges of Baths first Alternative Queen competition, part of this years Bath Fringe Festival which begins this week. This most regal of contests will form the finale of the Exposition of Cabaret, Vintage Fashion and Burlesque, being held at the Speigeltent on the 10th June.
The late Tudor Queen will join other Judges to decide who will win the enviable title of Alternative Queen of Bath 2012. Promoters, Smutter & Snells, have also announced that other judges will include Edward VII,  the severed head of Anne Boleyn and the reigning Alternative Miss Bristol 2012.
The theme for this years event will of course 60 Glorious Years and contestants costumes and titles should reflect a momentous event that has occurred since 1952. A lavish coronation ceremony will follow the competition where the successful contestant will take their rightflul place on a bespoke made throne and adorned with crown jewels befitting their title.
Audience members are also encouraged to plan their outfits too in order to get Regal at the Speigel.
The Alternative Queen of Bath contest is inspired by Andrew Logan, sculptor and English accentric, who created the now notorious Alternative Miss World competion that has been held in London since 1972.
Compere Countess ArsUppi said We have a great line up of judges who Im sure will, with the exception of Anne Boleyn, be able to keep their heads when making their decisions.
Contest organisers confirm that there is still time to enter the competition which closes on May 31st.
